This is an exciting and pivotal time to join the Planning & Performance team as we are driving constructive change to resourcing processes across BCB.
Our wider team has gone through a period of change and been recently renamed to accurately represent our purpose and to ensure our business is set up for long-term success to make BCB quicker and simpler for our colleagues and customers.
Commercial Performance & Enablement brings together key teams to better align our efforts with our business objectives, optimise our operations and provide even greater value for customers. These changes will unlock new opportunities for growth and innovation, positioning us for sustained success in achieving our strategic goals.
Our Colleague Enablement team has the purpose of ensuring we are allocating resources effectively, optimising our operations, and driving continued improved performance and growth across BCB. Colleague Enablement emphasises our commitment to enhancing the capabilities and success of our team members, aligning more closely with our goals of fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
We are a small but dynamic team with lots of energy and a strong focus on colleague development.
Specifically in this role you'll be responsible for
- Finding operational efficiencies and process enhancements across the line of business, with a focus on service delivery
- Creation and maintenance of detailed supporting artefacts and process maps of the operating model
- Translates business strategy into clear deliverables and documentation of “as is”, baselining operating principles to support business strategy
- Identify interdependencies across processes and maximises economies of scale
- Engages key partners and secures approval to proceed with operating model changes
The key skills I’m looking for are
- Stakeholder management – form relationships and have the ability to influence and up to and including the Executive level
- Problem solving – quickly understand, and devise solutions, to change barriers
- Analytical, with strong attention to detail
- Planning & organisation – comfortable working in ambiguity and ability to rapidly shift focus
- Communication – ability to explain complex topics in a simple, concise manner
It would be beneficial (but not essential) for you to have
- Workforce Management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication, in particular experience of producing PowerPoint packs for senior audiences
