Job Title: Business Change Manager

Salary: £61,110 + depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
·You will focus on the development and embedding of a Business Change Management framework and its application within the existing programmes way of working (Current Operating Model) and the subsequent transition planning to the Future Operating Model
·Take responsibility for the delivery of business change management within the Future Combat Air System line of business, focused through the GCAP programme, ensuring the adoption of change elements within existing and new activities through use of recognised approaches
·You’ll ensure Business Benefits associated with business change management or transformation are measured and tracked and aligned to existing benefit tracking frameworks (e.g. Risk Management closed loop system)
·Work with international partners (Government and Industry) senior internal stakeholders and national partner organisations (Gov and Industry) to manage an integrated approach to business change management
·Proactively identify risks and opportunities arising from the change activities and ensure they are properly managed within the risk management system
·You will grow and lead a suitably qualified and experienced (SQEP) team of business change resources to deliver on the Business Change Management priorities
·Be aware of and respond appropriately to BAES internal change initiatives that have a dependency or impact on the activities and approach
·And you will lead and influence direct and virtual teams across a large-scale international programme
Your skills and experiences:
·Advanced knowledge and understanding of Business Change Management frameworks along with proven experience in the deployment of Business Change in large, complex programmes
·Experience in delivering complex work packages or projects, guiding others in the application of Business Change Management processes
·Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport and demonstrable experience managing and influencing varied stakeholder groups and individuals
·Comprehensive knowledge and experience of Business Change Management governance and assurance processes
·Knowledge and experience of Human Factors and it’s effective application within business change campaigns
·Experience of managing risk and opportunities associated with business change management

The GCAP team:
You will be joining a highly motivated, experienced team within the BAE Systems Air sector, committed to the delivery and progression of a Future Combat Air System for the UK, and working across a diverse stakeholder group of functional and delivery teams including government and industry colleagues from across our partner nations to support the delivery of the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP). The Future Combat Air System (FCAS) is the UK’s declared programme of record to deliver a next generation combat air capability including a sixth-generation combat aircraft, called Tempest in the UK, being delivered through GCAP, the strategically important partnership between the UK, Italy, and Japan.
