Job title:Export Control Officer (12 Months FTC)

Salary: Circa £ 33,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Act as a support point of contact for simple day to day advice on export control regulatory and procedure requirements
- Assist with export control investigations, disclosure letters, corrective actions and support root cause analysis and lessons learned reviews
- Support in the draft and submission of UK export licence requests, EAR licence requests & ITAR general correspondence
- Review and approve/reject supplier declaration forms and manual transfer requests
- Support the allocation of applicable UK and US licences to support inbound and outbound movements of material and data
- Update registers/workspace/GTS as required
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to apply skills and knowledge to a range of problems and issues, drawing upon more experienced members of the team for guidance and advice
- Previous experience in a Capability Centre or similar fast paced environment effectively managing and prioritising multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work within a team and understand when to escalate matters for senior input
- A proactive approach to communicating with internal stakeholders
Desirable:
- Knowledge of export controls (training will be provided)

Working alongside other Export Control officers and report directly to the Export Control Manager, you’ll have ample opportunities for learning and development within the team through internal training.
