About this opportunity
Our Design Measurement Lead will support Design Leadership to improve how our work builds impact — driving forward our design maturity.
You will be essential in helping us evidence the impact of our designs, advocating for the adoption of outcome-led measurement frameworks which will track our progress towards experience excellence.
You'll play a key role in amplifying design's value and impact at scale. You’ll help us find new ways for Experience Design to connect with Product, Brand and Marketing teams and provide a strong bridge into the Insight, Planning & Effectiveness Team.
What You Will Be Doing
Design measurement sits with the Platform Alignment & Shared Method team which is one of several sub-teams that make up the Design Delivery Practice (DDP). The Design Delivery Practice supports the Design Directors to develop and disseminate our approach to design within and across platform-embedded design squads.
As Design Measurement Lead you’ll be responsible for:
- Designing, implementing and optimising experience measurement frameworks that to assess experience performance and drive strategic decision-making across Experience Design.
- Defining key experience performance indicators and success metrics.
- Ensure alignment between measurement approaches and key strategic objectives.
- Embedding of design measurement expertise and frameworks within design method.
- Raising data literacy across the Design Community.
- Working with designers to ensure robust statistical methodologies are applied to measure impact correctly.
- Championing measurement best practices.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to Design leadership, helping them to interpret and act on measurement insights.
- Translating complex measurement data into clear actionable recommendations
- Synthesising multiple data sources to produce effective storytelling.
- Partnering with other analytical and measurement teams to influence strategic measurement direction.
- Representing measurement at Experience Design leadership team meetings
- Raising data literacy across a multi-disciplinary design community.

Preferred experience
- Background in financial services
- Experience with digital analytics platforms, such as Adobe Analytics
- Experience with 'voice of the customer' tools, such as Qualtrics
- Experience with dashboarding and data visualisation tools
- Familiarity with attribution modelling
