ADDITIONAL LOCATION: Edinburgh
HOURS: Full Time, 35 hours per week
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days (or 40% of our time) per week at one of our office sites.

The team acts as trusted advisors to the Divisional Finance areas, including the Finance Platform, providing insight and analysis to support informed decision making and leading on budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting across a combined annual BAU/Investment cost base of c.£400m.

Day to day responsibilities
Working closely with Planning & Analysis to produce regular insightful financial reporting, conducting monthly reviews with Divisional Finance Directors and other key stakeholders across BAU & the Finance Platform.
Close collaboration with your business areas to prepare robust quarterly forecasts and 4/6 Year Operating Plans.
Horizon scanning for risks and opportunities.
Financial control for Finance costs, benefits and balance sheet.
Taking ownership to drive problem solving.
What you’ll need
Fully qualified accountant (preferable).
Strong people and communication skills.
Ability to communicate to finance and non-finance colleagues.
Strong business partner with the ability to deliver a clear financial story.
Commercially curious mindset with ability and confidence to challenge and influence.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
