About this Opportunity
The Sourcing and Research team delivers candidate sourcing, research and market intelligence solutions to support the direct hiring activities of Lloyds Banking Group Specialised Recruitment team. As a Senior Talent Sourcer, you set the standard for what good looks like when it comes to the quality of talent entering the recruitment process.
You will primarily support the Business & Commercial Banking, Corporate & Institutional Banking, and Insurance, Pensions & Investments. The core of the role will be understanding the business needs, developing and executing sourcing strategies, building a warm bench and attracting high-potential passive talent.
You will provide ownership of sourcing strategies for a defined business area, ensuring delivery of high-quality talent pipelines aligned to organisational goals. You will act as a subject matter expert in sourcing methodologies, leveraging advanced tools and techniques to identify and engage passive candidates while championing candidate experience.

What you'll need
Strategic sourcing methods by utilising advanced tools and techniques to identify, engage, and attract high-quality candidates, particularly for Front Office business pillars. Focusing on contributing to the development of comprehensive sourcing strategies aligned with team goals.
Deep knowledge of market intelligence tools such as LinkedIn Talent Insights, Talent Neuron, Draup, Horsefly and web-based researching techniques to deliver market insights to support hiring decisions.
Understanding of direct sourcing and talent research methods by leveraging various channels and databases such as LinkedIn, online communities, social media profiles, competing companies and more, utilising search string and data mining.
Conduct comprehensive research before interpreting/translating data and talent findings to create accurate, timely and well-informed market mapping, talent scan and intelligence reports.
Contributing insights to enhance existing sourcing methodologies and adopting more advanced technologies by optimising all available tools (e.g., HiredScore, CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter) to improve efficiency and candidate engagement.
Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to calibrate sourcing approaches, ensuring alignment with workforce planning and recruitment goals.
Maintain accurate candidate records in Workday and ensure compliance with LBG hiring policies and regulatory standards.
Leverage data insights to optimise sourcing strategies, report progress in business reviews, and proactively mitigate risks in talent pipelines.
Increase individual knowledge and practical application of AI by setting up a personalised learning journey, sharing external AI trends monthly, and incorporating AI-driven approaches into sourcing workflows.
Act as the team’s point of contact for a specialist area (e.g., Market Intelligence, Diversity Sourcing, Outreach Strategy), driving innovation and best practice.
Role-model LBG culture and values through hybrid working, continuous learning, and external market awareness to innovate sourcing practices.
Drive continuous improvement in the team's sourcing practices.
Set the bar for what a candidate centric journey should be. Champion candidate experience by ensuring personalised outreach and seamless engagement throughout the sourcing process. Uses expertise to serve as the organisational authority on meeting high candidate expectations. Sets and maintains a continued focus on delivering the candidate excellence. Implements' strategies and plans that deliver the right outcomes and high levels of candidate satisfaction.

Strong sourcing fundamentals, including Boolean search, candidate outreach, and initial talent mapping.
Good stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to take briefs and provide clear updates.
In-house Front Office recruitment and proactive sourcing experience is essential.
Previous experience of hiring or headhunting senior-level positions into commercial, corporate or investment banking is required.
Market mapping and research
Experience in using Workday ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Avature CRM, LinkedIn Talent Insights, Talent Neuron, Draup and Avature.
Competent in core sourcing tools and recruitment systems, with willingness to learn new technologies.
Data-aware mindset, able to use basic metrics to prioritise work and monitor pipeline health.
Collaborative and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and supporting team priorities.
Proactive learner, continuously developing sourcing skills and staying open to feedback and coaching.
