The opportunity
We are looking for a CRM Marketing Manager to lead Zurich UK’s CRM capability across Salesforce and Marketing Cloud.

Within a number of strategic growth areas of Life Protection and SME, as well as others, we have seen a transformation in our proposition, service and reputation in the last few years. We have big ambitions to further accelerate growth and better engage our customers and brokers.
This role sits at the heart of this growth agenda. Reporting to the Head of Brand Marketing, you will be responsible for CRM Marketing for Zurich UK - working with members of the marketing team to run targeted campaigns to Customers and brokers, at the same time as helping to design and build the architecture that underpins our CRM capabilities.
You will work as part of the marketing team to brief campaigns, copywriting, email and content creation and campaign optimisation, and at the same time lead the evolution of a connected CRM ecosystem, integrating Salesforce and Marketing Cloud with wider internal systems. Through the Customer Office you will work closely with Sales, Insight, Operations and Technology teams.
You will bring your love of marketing (B2C and B2B) and an entrepreneurial business-driven mindset to bear in the world of CRM. You will not be afraid to roll up your sleeves to find innovative and insight-driven ways to drive growth and targeted approaches to improve customer and broker experiences. You will be a great collaborator, adept at using insight to spot trends and patterns and working with marketing teams to help drive our always-on marketing growth programmes. Behind the scenes you will be automating and continuously improving our CRM environments, and building data-led workflows.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to bring great marketing and data to drive growth while building a core operating capability within Zurich UK. You will enhance customer loyalty and brand awareness through CRM initiatives that position Zurich as an integral part of our customers' lives.
What you will be doing
- Create impactful campaigns using direct feedback from customers and sales teams. Core marketing activities of campaign briefing, copywriting, email creation, and campaign optimization.
- Create and execute customer engagement/acquisition strategies in line with our growth plans. Playing a key role as the gel between sales and marketing to drive growth.
- Working with our insight team and Zurich data to deploy broker and customer audience segments to target relevant cohorts with appropriate campaigns.
- Adopt a Test & Learn approach to campaign development, carry out regular A/B and multi-variant testing. Utilize a variety of analytics tools to conduct post-campaign analysis
- Designing and continuously improving CRM architecture across Salesforce and Marketing Cloud. Developing a roadmap to test and embed AI-enabled approaches
- Encouraging teams across the business to unlock the potential of CRM to drive growth, and as a CRM subject matter expert. Where appropriate - help the team build and managing multi-step customer journeys within Marketing Cloud, configuring trigger-based and behavioural-based email sequences, supporting cross-sell and upsell journey design.
- Delivering and proving a business impact through collaboration with business teams. Being measured on growth and Customer KPI impact (such as tNPS, broker survey feedback etc).
What are we looking for?
- Experience as a Digital Marketer, Marketing Automation Specialist or CRM Marketing Specialist
- Creative / design experience desirable and/or HTML/CSS experience
- Experience building or re-architecting CRM environments from a basic to more advanced level
- Experience operating within complex or regulated environments (insurance or financial services desirable)
- Line management experience
Technical Skills
- Experience working with Salesforce and Marketing Cloud. Understanding of Salesforce CRM configuration. Execution of CRM journeys within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (must have)
- Good understanding of integrations and system connectivity (must have)
- Understanding of CRM governance and compliance data considerations (must have)
- Familiarity with AI or automation tools within Salesforce ecosystem (desirable)
Non-Technical Skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to translate commercial objectives into CRM architecture
- Comfortable influencing at senior and leadership level
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capability
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on
