About the role
We’re seeking a Senior Paralegal for our Succession & Tax team in our Romsey office. You’ll be joining a friendly and dedicated team, where you’ll be supporting our fee earners on complex matters and contributing to the growth of the wider firm.
Day to day, you will have varied responsibilities, including:
- Drafting wills, preparing LPAs, and administering estates (under supervision)
- Dealing with probate applications, inheritance tax forms, and estate accounts
- Supporting Solicitors and Partners on complex matters
- Achieving 5 chargeable hours per day, recording time accurately and proactively progressing matters
- Providing high standards of client care through clear communication, expectation management and providing excellent service
About you
We’re extremely proud of the relationship we’ve built with our clients and referrers, being recognised as their trusted legal partner. It’s important to us that you have the right blend of skills to service their needs and develop new relationships:
- Experience as a Paralegal within a Private Client team dealing with Wills, Probate, LPAs, and Trusts will be essential
- Experience with time recording and billing is highly desirable
- Law degree or equivalent professional qualification
- Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills
- Strong attention to detail and client care
- Commercially aware with a proactive mindset to take ownership of tasks turn challenges into solutions
