Job description

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and proactive interaction designer. Your work will help us meet Planning Inspectorates’ strategic direction and goals.

You will be able to focus on delivery and take responsibility for the quality of work produced. You will use your knowledge and expertise to organise work. You will be able to communicate and work collaboratively with others. You must have experience of designing services everyone can use. Your design work will meet user needs and you must be able to build working-code prototypes. You will be able to follow GOV.UK style guidelines. You have experience of turning complex requirements into simple user journeys and interactions.

You will work with a multi-disciplinary project team. You will analyse problems and design solutions to those problems. You will help to ensure that services focus on user needs. You will work with other designers to improve design approaches and strategies. Your work will meet project goals and delivery cycles. You will be an integral part of the digital team and help maintain design and data standards.
