JOB TITLE: Assistant Mortgage Product Manager, Homes – 12 Month FTC/Secondment
SALARY: The salary banding for this role is £39,825 - £44,250
LOCATION: Ideally Chester or Manchester. However, we’ll consider Bristol, Halifax, Leeds or London
HOURS: 35 hours, full time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

You’ll assist in the development, coordination and monitoring of products/channels. Interpreting complex processes and analysis, anticipating customer needs.

Our team manages the Group’s mortgage portfolio, which includes multiple brands and various types of mortgage products. We ensure that the treatment and outcomes for our existing mortgage customers align with regulatory requirements and internal policies. We seek problem solvers who are attentive to detail and committed to good customer outcomes with a strong sense of determination and drive.
What will I be doing?
Data and Analytics: Support the Utilisation of data and analytics to inform product decisions, track performance, and find opportunities for improvement. Assist with crafting and updating dashboards and reports for monitoring performance.
Strategy and Delivery: Contribute to defining and delivering the strategy of customer management and treatment strategies, balancing the business, conduct and customer contexts.
Customer Collaboration: Collaborate with Channel, Operations, Risk, Legal and our Platform teams to assist in coordinating a wide range of initiatives and projects across Homes.
Customer-Centric: Help build an understanding of customer behaviour and product performance whilst evaluating conduct and business risks.

What you’ll need
Mortgage Experience: Some background in mortgage products, with experience in supporting the management and enhancement of product portfolios in the financial services industry.
Analytical Abilities: Proficient in using various analytical tools and Management Information (MI) systems to scrutinise and manipulate data, deriving actionable insights and supporting critical initiatives.
Partner Influence: Ability to navigate and influence relationships to drive improvements that benefit customers.
Customer-Centric Approach: Always puts customers first, ensuring their needs are prioritised and exceptional outcomes are delivered.
Effective Communication: Excels in both written and verbal communication, confidently presenting evidence-based conclusions and recommendations at all levels.
