Job Title:Global Mobility Systems Lead

Salary:£65,000 + depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the transformation of Global and Domestic Mobility Services (GDMS) operational delivery through optimising existing systems and driving investment in new technology solutions
- Partner with the Operations Manager to streamline processes and enhance service delivery through automation, improving both business outcomes and user experience across the mobility lifecycle
- Oversee data security and privacy compliance across all GDMS technology platforms, working closely with supplier leads and external partners
- Serve as the primary GDMS representative in strategic technology initiatives and wider transformation programmes
- Ensure the GDMS technology roadmap supports all aspects of global mobility, including business travel, assignments, permanent transfers, and migrant monitoring
- Lead on technology strategy within the supply chain, identifying integration opportunities and working with vendors to deliver efficient, scalable solutions
- Champion improvements to reporting capabilities and analytics within mobility technology platforms, including ServiceNow and other enterprise tools
- Act as a change leader for technology within the team, building solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders to embed innovation and drive continuous improvement in global mobility services
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Experience working with global mobility platforms and systems
- Demonstrated success in implementing new technology solutions across complex, international organisations involving multiple stakeholders
- A proven track record of improving and optimising technology to enhance operational efficiency
Desirable
- Experience leading change initiatives, encouraging adoption and driving continuous improvement across teams
- Background in supplier or vendor management within a technology environment

The Global and Domestic Mobility Services Team:
The Global and Domestic Mobility Services (GDMS) team is part of the wider Shared Services function at BAE Systems, supporting international deployments across all sectors of the business. We work collaboratively with a wide range of internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver seamless mobility experiences. This role sits within our Service Delivery stream and reports directly to the Head of Global and Domestic Mobility Services. As part of the team, you’ll play a key role in shaping our integrated technology strategy — working at the heart of global mobility operations. You’ll collaborate closely with mobility colleagues, suppliers, and internal IT teams to enhance our platforms, improve the user journey, and help realise our technology ambitions. This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful transformation while supporting the wider team through training, supplier engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
