JOB TITLE: Senior Sourcing Manager – M&A and Projects.
SALARY: £76,100pa to £106,400pa (dependant on location and experience) plus the benefits listed below.
LOCATION: Bristol, Halifax, Leeds, London, Halifax, Edinburgh, Birmingham.
HOURS: 35 hours, full time.
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at the listed hubs.

The Consumer Products Sourcing Team within Consumer, Professional Services & Special Projects (C, PS & SP) Sourcing are on an exciting journey and there could not be a better time to join us. It is a fantastic time of change within Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) and the Group Sourcing and Supplier Management (GS&SM) team is at the heart of that change. You will play a lead role in the Sourcing team and will support 3rd party activity related to the groups M&A/Divestment activity – think of recent acquisitions within the group – MBNA/Embark/Tusker etc. This is an exciting opportunity where you will be a key part of the sourcing team to support the organisation in its pre and post deal activity. The role also supports a number of our broader growth and sourcing opportunities to optimise how we work and helping the businesses grow.
About this opportunity
In this role you will also need to collaborate closely across Group Sourcing, with the GCD teams, projects teams and business units engaged in acquisition/divestments and across the breath of Group Sourcing and Supply Chain Management. You will also be responsible for cross functional teams supporting some of our key growth opportunities.
So, are you an experienced sourcing leader who has a knowledge of mergers and acquisitions who is enthusiastic about developing strategic, bold, and ambitious agendas? Someone willing to relentlessly develop themselves and support the business to deliver for our stakeholder and improve how we work?
About you
Experience of leading sourcing processes, providing direction and oversight to leverage economies of scale through robust contract negotiations and supplier selection and effective commercial management.
An ability to create strong partnerships with senior stakeholders and influence business priorities whilst understanding future trends and requirements.
Experience and/or knowledge of understanding 3rd party implications and requirements within an M&A environment.
An ability to work on key areas of 3rd party due diligence, critically analyse data and prepare comprehensive proposals that update and influence senior stakeholders.
Experience of identifying best practices and ability to respond to changes in the internal and external business environment to secure best value for the Group and its customers.
An ability to apply expertise in contractual terms and conditions ensuring appropriate risk mitigation is embedded into supply contracts.
An ability to own, report and track financial benefits versus pipeline and targets, identifying potential risks and further opportunities.
Have demonstrated Drive the vision and mission of Group Sourcing and Supplier Management to deliver on its driving principles.
And any experience of these would be useful
Experience of working in a 3rd party M&A environment.
Experience of working with data to drive decision making.
Experience of working in Financial Services.
