About this role
As the Sales Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in leading and optimising the day-to-day operations of the sales department. You will have a broad remit with a wide range of responsibilities dependent on business priorities and the needs of the commercial teams. Within this role, you can expect to work with multiple stakeholders across different departments. You will also take ownership of commercial projects and initiatives to progress the Sales Operations strategy. Your efforts will ensure our commercial teams and leaders can focus on what they do best—providing great work in acquiring and supporting Just Eat partners.
These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
- Manage and continuously optimise the onboarding experience for new starters in the commercial team.
- Act as the go-to for managers with new starters, collaborating with Talent Acquisition and Tech for successful onboarding.
- Support the development and execution of innovative incentive programs to drive sales performance and motivation.
- Assist with planning and executing key events and meetings, ensuring they are impactful and well organised.
- Build, implement, and continuously improve policies and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Regularly review and update operational procedures to ensure best practices are followed and performance is optimised.
- Support negotiations with new and current suppliers for resources and events for our commercial teams.
- Work with internal teams (e.g., DPO, Infosec) to ensure supplier compliance.
- Enhance the sales operations function by providing support to team members and sales leadership as needed.
- Lead and support ad hoc projects and initiatives requiring Sales Operations involvement to contribute to commercial strategy.
What will you bring to the table?
- Demonstrable ability in a commercial-facing or sales operations environment, understanding sales processes and operational support.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, efficiently managing tasks with razor-sharp attention to detail.
- Strategic thinking and a process-driven, methodical approach to tasks, streamlining efforts and optimising ways of working.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, simplifying messaging for relevance and clarity.
- A collaborative mindset, able to build relationships and interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong rapport-building and negotiation skills for managing supplier relationships and stakeholder interactions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and optimise budgets effectively.
