About this opportunity
We’re looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Product Owner to join our Modern Workplace Platform team. This is a pivotal role that will shape how our colleagues experience work across the Group, driving digital transformation and enabling smarter, more inclusive ways of working.
As a Product Owner, you’ll take ownership of a defined product backlog within one of our workplace-focused labs. You’ll work closely with engineering leads, adoption specialists, and platform stakeholders to deliver incremental value, ensuring our workplace technologies are intuitive, secure, and aligned to colleague needs.
You will support the development and delivery of customer-centric solutions across multiple teams. Support the shaping of the product vision and strategy, managing the backlog, and ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. Deliver incremental value within a product by ensuring the team focuses on the right priorities to benefit customers and stakeholders.
Day to day you’ll:
Collaborate with team members to define clear, measurable Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) aligned with strategic goals. Tracks and reports on product performance metrics, including customer satisfaction, delivery timelines, and business impact. Ensures benefits realisation is monitored and communicated to stakeholders, demonstrating the value delivered by the team.
Define User-Stories at Team Level and translates customer requirements and feedback into actionable user stories. Ensures stories are well-defined, testable, and aligned with the product vision. Prioritises stories based on customer value, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
Collaborate to identify pain points and opportunities within the customer journey. Uses data and insights to refine user stories for better customer experience outcomes. Aligns product development with journey mapping to ensure seamless end-to-end experiences.
Contributes to shaping the long-term vision of the product. Aligns team-level work with broader product strategy and roadmap. Ensures the roadmap reflects customer needs, market trends, and business priorities.
Own and maintains the team backlog, ensuring it is up-to-date and reflects current priorities. Facilitates backlog sessions, balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term strategic goals.
Ensure compliance with change governance frameworks. Supports risk mitigation and change impact analysis for large-scale initiatives.
Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new features or changes. Note: Product Owners are accountable for these.

Agile: Experience of developing and delivering change management plans and achieving outcomes through the application of agile methodologies, with significant experience with agile development methods & tooling e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Jira & Confluence, and experience of leading & working as part of an agile team.
Additional Skills:
Knowledge of workplace technologies. AI and IWFM systems
Experience working with technical and cross-functional teams to deliver change.
Experience of defining a customer-focused strategy and aligning team objectives to deliver against it.
Experience tackling complex problems and breaking them out into a roadmap of viable solutions.
Experience of financial planning and cost control: a track record of delivering within budget and using resources effectively.
