We’relooking for an Assistant Social Media Manager to join our future-focused Group Corporate Affairs (GCA) Social Media team.It’sa great timeto join us! Over the past year,we’veadded TikTok and YouTube to our channel mix.We’realso adapting our strategy to focus more on search-led content and the ways people find brands, learn, and engage online.
You’llbe joining an expert team of analysts, strategists, and content creators - andyou’llplay a pivotal role in organising, planning, and enablingbest-in-classsocial content that reflects real-time insights, cultural moments, and long-term strategic priorities. Our ideal candidate is highly organised, imaginative, inquisitive, and confident operating in afast pacedenvironment. An interest in SEO, search behaviours, and the use of AI tools is essential, along with a passion for content systems, planning, and social-first storytelling.
Own the content calendar: Lead andmaintainthe central social media calendar across all GCA channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging spaces), ensuring alignment to strategy, priorities, and opportunities.
Enable planning for the future:Collaborate with strategists and analysts to turn insights into actionable plans.Identifymoments, topics, and trends to respond to, helping the team stay ahead.
Channel coordination:Ensure planned activity across platforms is coherent, well-timed, and meets audience needs across differing business areas and themes.
Shoot organisation:Lead thelogistics, scheduling, and operational delivery of content shoots-including briefs, suppliers, talent, creators, and locations.
Search-ledcontent development:Support the team with SEO-driven planning, including keyword-informed briefs, optimisation recommendations, and insight gathering.
AI-enabledworkflows:Apply AI tools (including Copilot) to streamline workflows, enhance planning, improve briefing, and support content production.
Creator management support: Help organise and coordinate work with our internal creator collective, ensuring they have briefs, materials, and timelinesrequiredfor high-quality delivery.
Quality control & consistency:Maintainoversight of content outputs, ensuring we meet our cadence goals across channels as well asmaintainingthe balance of themes and formats.
Reactive planning:Help coordinate rapid responses to cultural moments, breaking insights, and reputation opportunities, working closely with the wider Corporate Affairs team.
Lead weeklyand monthlycontent planning sessions, sharing insights, upcoming moments, and opportunities.
