Location: Manchester, Sheffield
As a Senior Product Manager at the Home Office, you’ll lead the evolution of a large-scale enterprise platform used by over 50,000 colleagues every day.
You’ll own a key product area, setting direction through data, user insight, and clear outcomes. Working with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers, you’ll drive continuous improvement and influence how products are delivered across a highly regulated environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning and shaping the product vision, strategy, and direction
- Leading roadmaps, release plans, and full product lifecycle delivery
- Using user research, data, and analytics to guide decision-making
- Prioritising work through a well-managed product backlog
- Driving continuous improvement and identifying new opportunities
- Ensuring products meet GDS standards, accessibility, and best practice
- Collaborating with delivery teams, stakeholders, and suppliers
- Supporting and mentoring Product Managers and contributing to recruitment
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience leading digital or technology-backed products
- Ability to use data and user insight to make confident product decisions
- Experience delivering complex products in large-scale environments
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Commercial awareness, including budgeting and financial considerations
- Experience leading teams and supporting others to grow
- A user-focused mindset with a passion for improving services
