Job Title: Maintenance Plumber
Location: Barrow-in-Furness – Onsite
Salary: £37,318
What you’ll be doing:
- Conducting water treatment tasks, including temperature checks and dosing
- Carrying out Maintenance and Repairs to industrial pipework systems. (Such as Propane, Oxygen, Argon, C02, Nitrogen, Natural Gas, Bulk Water)
- Carrying out Reactive and Planned maintenance on Domestic Systems (Heating Systems, Hot & Cold-Water Supplies, Effluent)
- Performing maintenance and repair on industrial heating appliances, including gas-fired AHUs and overhead radiant heaters
- Performing testing of fire protection sprinkler systems
- Engaging with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as collaborating with cross-functional customers
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Time served Plumber with Qualifications (City and Guilds or NVQ3, Trade papers to be provided upon application)
- Knowledge and understanding of Water regulations
Desirable:
- Experience in a Commercial/industrial Environment
- Legionella Awareness
- An understanding of safe systems of work
- Commercial Gas Qualifications, ACS Gas Qualifications – Commercial – COCN1, CIGA1, ICPN1, CDGA1, BMP1,TPCP1, Domestic – CCN1, Cenwat, CKR1, CPA1
